HOW DO I LIGHT MY HORSE ARENA?
At Arrow Power, we know horses! We know that lighting a horse arena can be so beneficial to just give you those few extra hours in the day. Especially when it comes to the winter months – no one wants to be riding in the dark. Keep your horses happy and your riding time to a maximum with equestrian lighting from Arrow Power.
There are several different options you have when it comes to lighting your horse arena and stables. There are pros and cons for each option and no two paddocks or arenas are the same so it’s not just a one-size-fits-all.
We also offer automatic stable lighting either solar or mains powered that will switch on automatically in your stables or sheds at night time, and switch off in the morning. That way all the hard work is done for you and you won’t have to go out in the cold!
Equestrian lighting can be achieved by either mains power, generator, or solar power. We go into detail for each option below. Obviously, the costs will vary depending on which option you choose and what is going to suit your needs. You can call our friendly team today and we can design something to suit your needs and budget. Or simply fill in the form and we will be in contact.

THINGS YOU SHOULD CONSIDER
Solar lights contain batteries that will need to be replaced after a period of time. The average run time for the lights with a full charge is 6 hours but will vary per model. We offer easily accessible batteries so it shouldn’t be too difficult to replace these down the track when needed.
When positioning the solar panels it will require orientation for full sun. If you have large trees you may need to have these trimmed or removed in order to get the best output from your lights. We offer a fully customisable design service for our customers.
Fill out the form below to request a custom quote and one of our product experts will follow up and answer any questions you may have about LED fixtures or concerns you have about your project.
WHAT ABOUT STABLE LIGHTING?
If you’re wanting to avoid a long coat on your horses and ponies it is a good option to consider automatic stable lighting. We offer solar options for automatic stable lighting so you can even light up those hard-to-reach sheds and shelters down the back paddock. The solar stable lighting we offer is the highest quality Australian design with easy-to-reach batteries should they ever need to be changed down the track.
Horses should be under 16 hours of continuous light with 8 hours of darkness per day. The light you provide can be added to either end of the day. However, we find most of our clients want their lights switching on in the afternoon/evening when it’s time to feed and put rugs on.
We will pre-set the timer as per your personal requirements to keep your horses coat in tip-top show condition all year round.
Feel free to contact us today and discuss options to suit your needs.
